He finished up, seasoning the eggs with his special blend before bringing in the large platter to her. Turning to the fridge he pulled out some juice and poured her a large glass, for certain she would have to stay hydrated since she was nursing, but he was loaded in drinks so that was not an issue. He passed the glass to her quickly, for from the room he heard the sound of one shuffling, possibly waking just a little, he made no comment, had not dared to give her room to jump up, she had to get herself up to par and he would take care of things until she did. He passed down the hall and entered the bedroom, little Connac began to grumble and Arianna was merely laying calm and quiet in her bassinet wide awake. He took each bassinet from where they stood and carried one by one each one down into the livingroom, placing them within sight of both him and Andra. He had taken time to clear out the large livingroom, the couches pushed well away for lots of room to stretch for them, they would be quick to learn everything as all his young had been. Years it had been since he had heard or seen any of them, though it didn't really matter, these two were what he had to pay attention to, and he would. Quickly changing both he wrapped them carefully and stroked their long soft hair, sitting down and watching them both cautiously. Never mess with the young of the wolf lord....

Skip five years....
Andra was dozing fitfully when something collided with her side. She woke with a start, bleary eyed with sleep, looking for her attacker. None came into view at first, and she kept looking around. Something caught her eye, and she looked at the door in time to see a black tail disappearing around the frame. She sighed, got out of bed, and trotted down the hall, looking for the trouble maker that she knew was Connac.
Connac watched his mother sleep, his tail wagging slightly. Launching himself at her, he ran out of the room as she woke up, grinning furiously. He heard her get up and follow him, so he booked it faster down the hallway, looking over his shoulder. While his attention was fixed somewhere else, he missed the turn and collided with the wall. He sat there, dazed for a few minutes. Then the pain began and he whimpered, though he struggled to hold it in.

Ah ha, Connac hit the wall! the little voice of the young she-wolf rang through the minds of all in the house as she padded into view, her blazing green gaze meeting that of her brother, long limbs mismatched to those of large wolf paws and all the defined features of a young adolescent pup. Flit of a tail wagged gently against the air as she walked forward, a gentle smile on her face before turning and darting off. She was a little nimbler than Connac, little Arianna, but still could not keep straight her walking pattern, heading for the stairs she trudged up the steep steps and found herself tumbling when she found the top. Ears flopped against her head as she rolled to a halt but found that she was alright, finding her feet she turned to watch and soon ran smack forward into the feet of her father.

He had been busy reading up on the goings on of the packs, emails and such in his den when he heard the ruckus downstairs, poor Andra hardly ever got a moment's rest with those two. Standing up he knew that she had taken wolf form to find a more secluded spot to take refuge, but it seemed Connac, being as quick witted as his mother, found her and took play with her. Hearing the crash with the wall he knew he had to step in somewhere, but soon found that they were soon to find him, little Arianna running square into his legs. He reached down and plucked her by the rough, bringing her to eye level and staring cold into her gaze.
What did I tell you both about letting your mother be?
He questioned.
--------------------
Her small gaze came to meet his as he brought her up to view, a small smile placed on her sheepish face. Not to wake hewr? she asked in response.

Andra heard Arianna taunt her brother, just as she heard Connac's struggle not to whimper. As she made her way to the crash site, she heard Orion get up to intercede. She shut her mind of Arianna and Orion, focusing on Connac. She found him down the hall, where it veered sharply. It was obvious that he had been not looking when he hit the wall. He was struggling to hold in tears. She picked him up by the scruff and carried him upstairs to where Orion was scolding Arianna.
Connac heard his sister's taunts and stopped listening, though he did grin through his tears when he heard her collide with their father. Pawsteps caught his attention and he turned to see his mother. He smiled at her, the pain in his head lessening only slightly. He let her pick him up and carry him upstairs, tucking himself into a ball.

Watching the approach of Andra on the stairwell he smiled, placing little Arianna on the ground he allowed their mother to take them off and set them where she wanted them, maybe for their afternoon nap or something. He chuckled, little Connac seemed a little more or less embarrassed by what he had done, kneeling down to Andra he took the pup from her maw and held him in his hands, stroking his spine gently as he allowed their mother to take Arianna off instead.
Seems you got yourself into a bit of something, huh?
He asked his son, bringing the tiny gaze up to his level as he headed back for his office. He planned to continue his work but maybe get his son down for his nap while he worked.

Andra sighed. What will I do with these too! she cried in her mind, full of mock desperation. She picked up Arianna, none too gently, and walked to their bedroom. Rearing, she deposited her onto her bed. There, she glowered at the little grey pup seated before her. What have I said before? she reprimanded. Don't tease your brother when he does something like that, she said, still chiding her. Then she gave her a nudge, a clear order to take a nap and trotted out, still in desperate need of sleep. She trudged to her room, returned to her human form, grabbed some clothes and threw herself onto the bed. She was asleep within moments.
Connac felt himself rise high into the air as his father picked him up. He watched as his mother left with Arianna. He snickered, she was gonna get it. Then his father's words reached him, and he hung his head. It hurt, he whimpered piteously. And it had, slamming full force into a wall was not fun at all. He struggled in his father's grasp, wanting to play and run around. Maybe he could even find his mother again! She would surely play with him!

Boy, Arianna was sure to be a troublemaker even as she grew, but now all she wanted to do was get out of that room. She leaped to the floor and began to dig at the floor, though soon found that the efforts were meaningless, returning to bed she grew tired, she was always one to realize when she was beaten, and now was one of those times. A silent sigh escaped her and she drifted off to take her nap.
-----------------
As Connac began to wrestle in the grips of Orion he chuckled, no, this little pup needed to calm down, if he did he would realize just how ready for a nap he was. He stood, shutting the door and holding tight to little Connac, sitting in his chair he began to rock and fell silent. He used his free hand to stroke the little pup, hoping that he would simply drift off to sleep.

Connac did not want to sleep. Who wanted to sleep when you could play? Not he. He struggled more, itching to escape his father's unbreakable grasp. He knew it was impossible, but he had to try. The soft stroke of his hand was lulling him a bit, making him sleepier. He fought it off, lightly nipping Orion's hand. Not hard, but hard enough.
Andra slept on, oblivious to all around her. The afternoon wore on, and she finally woke. She got up and stretched, having had a good rest. She yawned, and made her way down the hall, to look in on Arianna. When she silently opened the door, she noted the scratch marks on the floor and shook her head. They had to break her of that, she was going to ruin the floor of her room if she continued.
