Holly had just came to this town. Nothing brought her here. There was no job offering. No one she knew lived here. In fact, she had lost contact with a lot of people she used to know. But that didn't matter now. What did matter was she had traveled until finding this place. And she had found a club! The exact club she was standing outside of now. Her brown eyes blinked once, as if she was deciding to go in.
She shook her head, clearing the weird feeling she had about the place from her mind. Her long, brightly colored hair shook out, looking rather interesting to anyone passing by. It wasn't every day someone saw dark blue as a hair color. She smiled and started walking towards the doors in her big, black boots. Her short, red plaid skirt swished with the swaying of her hips, jingling a few chains as it did. She pushed through the doors and was in. She did not know that this may have been the most life changing thing she could ever have done.

The blue eyes woman sat at a point where she could see all those who entered, she enjoyed watching, waiting, wanting desperately for that right person to walk through those doors. Ros was picky, she wanted companionship but there had to be something special. She had just put out her cigarette and was about to light another when a tall girl walked through the door. She was confident, that was obvious enough, and her hair was a unique shade of blue.
With a smile and a wink to the bar tender she ordered two beers, and pushed past all those who stood between her and her mark. As she stood next to the girl she realize how short she was, it wasn't the first time in her life she had noticed this, she just smiled at the other's height. Sticking the beer into the girls hand she smiled sweetly and spoke. "Here, have a drink on me. Name's Ros. How are you finding the place? I feel it's a little garish with the blue smoke myself, but what can you do?" Her voice was soft, drifting through the air like the smell of flowers through a field, her smile contagious. Ros pulled a thin silver case from her pocket, and from it to a cigarette, offering it to the girl that stood beside her. Gain her trust, she thought. She continued to smile at the girl, vowing to herself she would have her as a pack memeber or a fest before the night was over with.

Holly almost jumped as a woman approached her from the crowd of people. The place definitely was different somehow. But it wasn't in how it looked. She couldn't put her finger on it but just shrugged it off. She was being paranoid. And look! A drink already. She could smell the barley. She took a quick drink while looking down at the woman before she answered. She had forgotten how tall she was.
The name's Holly. I suppose the smoke is tacky but you've obviously never been to a rave. You're lucky the walls aren't painted rainbow. I'm new to the place. Seems alright.
Her hand went up to twist the bar bell sticking through her left ear. It was a nervous habit whenever she was new anywhere. She looked around, smelling the rough smell of tobacco. She looked down at the cigarette and just shook her head. She had just quit. She didn't need to start coughing again. She smiled at Ros though, to show no hard feelings.

Ros laughed, the sound just as infectious as everything else about her. She had spent many years perfecting herself. She was no longer the kitten that lost the mouse directly after catching it, she was the cat, throwing the poor creature into the air, letting it run a short distance before grabbing it up again. She did enjoy this part, maybe too much.
The girl refused the cigarette, no matter, she had accepted the beer happily enough. She motioned for two more, her amber bottle nearly empty. "So Holly," She nearly purred the name and continued. "What brings you to our part of the world, what grand adventure had you set out on at such a young age." She smiled and began walking to the tables, she would be much more comfortable sitting and talking with this girl. She held out the fresh beer as a lure, drawing the girl into a secluded corner.

Holly already liked this woman. It could be due to the fact she was buying the beer, but she also liked something else about her. She followed Ros to the tables. She gave a small shiver as the woman said her name. There was something feline in the voice. Holly liked it. She smiled. Why did everyone call her young?
Nothing really. I wandered and ended up here. I don't really have much of a reason for most things I do. You know. I just go where ever it feels like I should be.

Ros smiled, she had picked the perfect one. The company of this girl was simply delightful, even in the short time and through the silences. She studied the one called Holly silently, she piercings, the tattoos, the hair color, she was sublimely defiant, an outsider. No family? That would make things easier, what would not be simple would be to breech the subject. It had been many many years since she had changed anyone, and for the most part it had all been accidental.
She sat remembering her own transformation. She had no choice in the matter, she was not approached as a future friend, no, she had been attacked in sport. The one that changed her had been young, looking back many years later she realized this, it was nothing more than a child trying out a new toy. She harbored no ill feelings to that creature, she had nearly been as stupid her first night out.
Suddenly she was brought back to the present, how long she had been silent she didn't know. She must have seemed so strange. "Do forgive me, I have a nasty habit of daydreaming. I was simply comparing my wanderlust to your own. You remind me quite a bit of myself, though a good bit taller version." She laughed again and ordered two more beers. She didn't intend on getting the girl drunk, but she did look like she could easily handle herself, at least where alcohol was concerned at this point.

Holly watched as the stranger day dreamed. Her eyes wandered over the black hair and the blue eyes. An unusual combination that always produced very beautiful results and it was no different on this woman. She talked liked she was a bit older than she looked but Holly dismissed that. If she could count how many times thought she was older than 18.
She laughed a bit when Ros finally spoke again. She was used to being the tall one in groups. She simply shrugged. She liked being compared to this woman. Ros had gotten a few looks and Holly, while being happy with life, still felt a bit lonely. Wandering was fun but it was always better to find someone to wander with.[/size]
We all have nasty habits. If day dreaming is your worst count your blessings. And forgive me, but you see to have something on your mind. Can I ask what it is?

Ros smiled softly as her mind screamed at her. Yes she wanted to yell I have wandered many centuries, many countries, all the while alone and I am tired of wandering, tired of the emptiness, but she remained silently smiling. Could she bring up immortality? Could she talk of the wonder of the hunt? What would she say to this girl she desired, the one she wanted as a companion? She spoke an honesty. "I have simply wandered alone for an eternity and have grown weary of it all." She wink, only to imply that she was exaggerating, but she wanted to grab the girls hands and tell her of the life she could provide. She thought she would try and lead the conversation to the subject she wanted to speak of.
"Even the lone tiger has a need of companionship from time to time. Imagine being such a creature, left to your own devices in the jungle. The power of such an animal I would love, but only if I could return to myself when I wanted." She watched the girls expression, looking for a subtle gesture that might go unnoticed to any human but might speak volumes to her keen eyes. Would she accept the bait, would she love the transformation, would she say if she knew how to obtain such a gift she would jump at it? Ros knew now if the girl refused her she would end up a meal, and for the first time in her long life the thought troubled her.

Holly nodded almost absent-mindedly at her words. The power of a tiger. But also to be human. It sounded nice. And think of the wandering one could do as a tiger. The jungle would be home and not the busy city and the corruption of humans. But what was she getting at? Maybe it was just the beer talking. Holly had drank three already and the woman had apparently been here for a while before her. But whatever it was, she liked her words.
To wander as a tiger seems to be a wonderful idea. What if we had such power? To become a beautiful beast. Even the idea of simply being able to talk to another tiger is an exciting thought, isn't it?

Ros smiled inwardly, there it was, that glimmer in the eye, that spark of thought that her words at created. Now, to continue beating around the bush or to be outright. The old one knew that no matter the approach, the outcome of the conversation would be the same. No matter if you creep over the edge of a cliff or plunge off of it from a full run you will end up mangled at the bottom. So, with a deep breath, she ran off the edge of the abyss. "I can give you such a gift. You will not age, appearing for eternity as young as you are now. You will be able to shift at will, taking on the form of a tiger. It is a glorious thing, and for your sake I hope you accept, for it will be your only way out of the bar alive."
She taken another drink of her beer, she was calm, collected. The small woman sat quietly waiting for an answer, maybe she should have been a little more tactful about the truth but this thought quickly passed. She felt she would grow to be fond of this girl, it had started already, but why tell her lies to pacify her?

Holly sat there staring at Rosalynn for what must have been forever. What this woman had just said to her was impossible. It must be the beer talking. But there was something in her eyes, something in the way she said it. Holly was tempted to believe her. And if she was to entertain that idea, what would her answer be? Would her new... companion allow her to ask questions? Before she answered that was. And there was a death threat. But it all depended upon what the answers to the questions were. Because sometimes death was better. She knew this. But it seemed a pity to be thinking this right now.
She spoke after a very long pause.
If I accept, what does this mean? Do I have to hide from regular people? Can I ever die if there comes a time I don't want to live anymore? Eternity young seems wonderful now but there will always be downsides to immortality. Can I ever see the few friends I still have again? Or will I be outcast from everything I am now?

Rosalynn was glad the girl spoke, and just as glad that she had asked questions. She thought for a moment and then began answering one by one. "You will blend in perfectly with everyone else. I actually live just right outside of town. I come in and go shopping, do all of the things anyone else does. Yes, there are ways of ending it if you so chose, a dear friend of mind once perpetrated a crime simply for the use of the country's guillotine. Finally, for a short while you will be able to stay in contact, but eventually you must phase them all out, or say your final goodbye. It would never work after an extended period of time, everyone around you would grow old and you would never change. You may feel outcast from all you had known from time to time, but you will become a part of something so much better."
She was being pushy, she wasn't being subtle, she knew all of this. However she was getting hungry and she wanted someone to hunt with. She hoped that she would agree to it, though thinking more on it she figured either way she would get he meal.

Holly nodded. She was processing it all. All her family was gone already. And the friends she had would fade eventually anyways. The power of a feline. It was intriguing. A tiger? What color would she be? And if she was asking that question, hadn't she basically already decided? Yes, she had. She had no desire to die. And she had a very large desire to transform. Isn't that what someone always dreamed of as a child? Becoming a big cat. Maybe she'd have an easier time finding someone to spend her life with. Maybe. It was still her after all. She twisted the industrial one last time then looked Ros dead in the face, smiling.
Do I get to choose my form?

Ros's heart finally stopped trying to pound out of it's cage, she had said yes? With the broad grin the woman replied softly. "You body will pick the pelt color, but it will be amazing! I promise!" She was visibly excited, she was acting uncharacteristically youthful, she was so excited to enlarge her family. Ros took a deep breath, she had to calm down, she had to walk this girl through what would happen.
She started walking up the stairs, talking to the girl as they went to one of the empty rooms. "We will go up here where there are no people, it will be easier for you. I am going to bite you, shortly after you will start to change. It's different for each person, for myself the bite stung, then my skin itched as my fur grew that first time, and it felt like every bone was breaking as it shifted into it's new position. It may not be so painful for you. We will hunt afterwards, you will be hungry." Ros shut the door behind the two of them, she smiled sweetly, and raised her eyebrow. "You ready?"

Holly winced at the idea of her bones shifting around. But she supposed it was a small price to pay. She'd be a beautiful tiger. She wondered what changing would be like. Would her clothes change too? How about her piercings? Would her tattoos remain? Well she'd find out soon enough.
"Ready as I'll ever be."
It was kind of strange being in a private room getting ready to be bit by a woman who claimed her bite could turn you into a tiger. She wondered if she was being made a fool of. Maybe there was a hidden camera somewhere. Oh well, she could always blame it on being tipsy. She smiled at Ros. She was still standing in front of the door. Her tattoos on her wrists pointing outwards. She began playing with her earring again.
