Soft footfall was heard in the dust. A lithe black shape appeared from behind one of the abandoned stands. Kali smirked. She had gotten away from Razor, though she knew it wouldn't last long. He would probably come and get all mad like he usually did. Her ice blue eyes looked around, and she wandered through the fairgrounds. She hadn't really had the chance to explore yet, so this was her first time here. Her claws dug into the dirt with every step the young feline took. She was still wary, smelling the air to try and catch the scent of Razor every few steps. The young female stopped at a small tank, and reared up, placing her huge onyx paws at the edge of the tank. Her blue eyes peered into the water, spotting a few shining gold streaks. Goldfish. Kali batted at a few of them, amused at their attempts to flee her massive paws. She gave up, just because it wasn't as entertaining after a while, and moved on. She stopped, as a new scent wafered across her nares. What was it?

A gentle growl emitted from the sharp throat of the dark creature, he had been wandering oh so alone for some time, preferring his privacy now more than ever with all the others so mad at him still. Resting atop the large ferris wheel so battered and destroyed he could all but feel the weakness in the stands but did not care...he was a cat, lithe and agile, though he was heavy he knew just how to level out his weight just right, until he found that perfect spot. This spot tonight was the top most seat of the large ride, locked from rocking by steel cross bars blocking it's movement. Resting his skull his tail batted silently back and forth almost as if agitated but simply from being so complacent, but what drew him from this state was the large black form scooting about the earth far below him. Yellow gaze watched closely as the smaller form of Kali, his young panther in the making, playing with the fish of the nearby fish tank. Whiskers twitched and closed together against the front of his maw as he moved ever so slightly against the seat, watching her move about like some fascinated young kitten. He chuckled, a smile tenderly playing his panther jowels with the simple fascination of watching one so young play about.

The sound that ever so slightly graced Kali's harks, was a very soft squeaking. She quickly moved her head to where she spotted another black feline on the ferris wheel. It was Razor. Oh man.... Kali had wished she would have been able to talk to someone without Razor showing up first, but of course, her hopes were in vain. When weren't they? She shook her head in dissapointment. She knew that she would get a 'talking to'. Well... of some sort. She sighed, and started walking. She might as well roam around a bit before he caught up with her. She moved her black paws in a slow trot, her tail tip twitching. Her blue eyes scanned in front of her, and her harks listened behind her. She didn't want Razor sneaking up behind her. She knew he could be quiet. Very quiet. But she was determined not to let him sneak up on her today. She slowed back down to a walk and looked around. She didn't recognize a thing, and she couldn't see the ferris wheel either, although she figured Razor was nearby, or following. Great....

Watching her sudden flash of blue gaze catch him he simply stopped his silent chuckling and watched her even closer. Now she knew he was here, but really, he wasn't here to bother her, in truth, he saw this dusted ratty place as his temporary home, he knew the ins and outs much better than most and found this ferris wheel as his best place to rest peacefully. She began on her way and he simply sighed, he had nothing to say to her, nothing to do with her, not now...rolling he stretched across the cushioned seat and set his paws curled across his chest, rear paws extended to the sky. He reached up for a moment, straightening his entire form as he extended a stretch that led into a restful yawn before he curled again, but without warning the seat gave way and lolled forward, tossing him from the seat.
The loud growl of the big cat was heard as he tumbled through the wires and felt tears in his perfect pelt being caused. Hitting the flat platform on earth he lay silent for a moment as dust filled the night air in a large puff, he almost could not catch a breath then and felt sort of foolish for being a cat that did not land on his paws. Rolling he slowly climbed to his paws and then moved quickly from the wreckage he caused, limping slightly he paused just outside and shook the dust away. He sat, pulling his wounded paw to his maw his rough tongue got to work cleaning it up before he moved on. He wasn't in the mood to deal with Kali right then if she didn't want to deal with him, he decided the next best place was on the zipper, though he dared not to climb up into the highest point seat. Strolling into the earthbound cart the entire compartment rocked for a few short moments before it settled, the large cat form resting comfortably on the seat. If she wanted to see him she could, if not, she was left to her own devices.

Kali heard the loud growl and instinctivly bolted toward it. When she saw the black shape of Razor falling from the ferris wheel, she yowled in surprise. She started to run, but slid to a stop and cringed when he hit the ground. She watched as he moved to the zipper thing... and crawled in. She didn't really know why he was here, though she figured it was along the lines of a home. Sort of. For her, it was something new. Kali emitted a very soft snarl of regret for what she was about to do. Her harks pinned against her head in determination, and she forced her paws to move. She padded over to the cart where Razor was, and peered in with her blue eyes. They set upon the figure of Razor. No matter how much she didn't want to, she spoke. Are you okay? She didn't hate Razor, not at all. She was sort of scared of Razor, and punishments that might follow her actions, though she would never admit it to anyone. Her voice did not crack, or squeak, or give any hint of fear away. It was a simple stated question, that she hoped she would get an answer to, not an ignorance from Razor.

The silent slipping of pads approached his place of rest, and now all that had occurred in that fall began to ache...figures, all the adrenaline pumped gave way now to pain that was throbbing his entire form. Each movement he made right then screamed pain as he rolled to his back and lay just as he had before he fell so far from his platform. The slowly rising gaze of Kali caught his eye and he opened one to her, looking her over as she asked him if he was alright, slightly opened jaws emitted a short hiss of pain as he rolled over again and looked down to her. He slumped, draping large paws down over the seat as he leveled his eye contact with her.
Nope, I'm not...didn't expect my perch to give way. It's alright though, wasn't the first time and won't be the last. So, you find anything worth your time here? it's a pretty interesting place.
He smiled, purring gently to her. He held a small soft spot for her now, he wouldn't harm her, more protect her now, it sort of repulsed him but she was the only other he knew that came to his aid when she could...

Kali nodded at his words, and purred slightly. At least he was talking. So... he wasn't to hurt. And apparently he wasn't mad at her either. Which was fine and dandy with Kali. Her black tail twitched. She hadn't really found anything interesting. Except for perhaps the fish. If you could count those as interesting... She sighed. That would be a no. Her black pelt twitched in agitation. As a young 'newborn' panther, she was easily bored. And having a pack leader that was as boring as a newspaper... well it sucked for Kali. No.... not rea- HOLY SHIT! Her scentence was cut off as a gray, black, and white streak barreled into her side. She yowled in surprise, and wrestled with the creature. She bit into his paw, and leapt off when she heard his howl of pain.
----------------------------------------------------
Evan grinned as he tackled the panther. He laughed when she yelped. He had obviously surprised her, and that was what he was going for. He howled when she bit his paw. She leapt of of him, and he scrabbled to his paws, holding the injured one in the air. He proceeded to clean it, licking the blood from in between the pads and claws. His blue eyes went from one panther to the other, waiting for one of them to say something. He knew he would get chewed out by whatshiswhiskers. The older one. But the younger female he might get to know a little bit better. He stopped licking his paw, and softly set it on the ground, barely applying pressure.[/color]

Watching the motions of Kali and all just made him feel he knew that she didn't find him all that interesting, that and his home was rather boring for her taste. Little would she know that this fair was still open for business so to speak, all lycanths in this area knew how to work all the mechanics and could run all the rides even though they had been out of service for quite some time. The only ride that none dared to touch was the ferris wheel, for obvious reasons, but as she made her response another dark figure leapt in abruptly, interrupting their conversation. His scent drove Razor to his paws with a deep growl breathing on his maw, fangs bared before lunging at the cat seating himself. He was new, he was very surprised that he hadn't heard of another panther living so freely in his territory...but he was not in equal size of Razor, slightly smaller the feline was crushed under the weight and flesh of the larger cat.
Speak stranger, or I will rip your throat from your neck for harming my chosen.
His growls met under white pearl knives extended to the jowels of the other, ready to strike if he would try so foolishly to move.

Evan's crystal blue eyes met looked to the older panther. Evan's harks twitched in annoyance. He knew this would happen, but such a threat? Man... he was only fourteen. Sure, he was a very young and stupid wolf, but whatever. He sighed, and replied to the older panther. Dude. Calm down, it was just a joke. He quickly looked to the other panther to see if she was spazzing, or angry, and she seemed fairly calm for being flytackled by some random stranger. His eyes moved back to the other and Evan calmly sat there. For being so daring and stupid, he was very calm when he got in trouble.
------------------------------------------------------
Kali glared at the wolf, but then she glared at Razor. Why should he rip out his throat, when all he did was tackle her? He didn't hurt her. Just surprised her. Her anger for the wolf faded away, replaced by annoyance toward Razor. After the wolf spoke, she cut in. Razor, it's no big deal. He just tackled me. He didn't hurt me. If Razor leapt at the wolf for his behavior, she would tackled Razor. She knew that in the air, she could at least knock him off balance. Her black auds twitched in annoyance. She didn't think the wolf deserved to be hurt, but Razor needed to stop being so protective. He was like a very overbearing father. And that annoyed the crap out of Kali. She sat and waited, staring calmly at Razor.

Looking to the wolf he let a snarl escape him listening to the words of the two, then stepping off and turning attention to Kali. Her safety in the presence of a wolf was his business, she needed to understand that as he was her sire. He could tell she was annoyed with him, he really didn't care, he was frankly annoyed with this attitude she gave him for simply defending her against an unknown, he had half a mind to strike a claw against her ear for her insolence but fought it back as he took a seat.
Fine, seems you know one another, I need a name now. Kali, it is a big deal when a lycanth that I do not know jumps on one that I am sire of, it is my duty to protect you while you're still young whether you like it or not, got me?
A flash of bright yellow passed to her, showing his anger and frustration, he almost wished he took an older human, these kids were starting to get on his nerves a bit.

Kali ground her teeth at Razor. Her lip was curled in a slient snarl. His words irritated her. No matter what she said, he would find a way to turn it against her, so she kept it simple. Fine. Her tail thrashed in agitation as the word came out very harshly. She glared at Razor for a moment, before spinning around and stalking off in the other direction. She didn't care what he said. If he got mad, that was his fault. He was sick of her, she was sick of him. That was that. Kali walked off a ways, then curled up, and layed her tail over her nose. She was in a dark corner, so she slightly blended in.
---------------------------------------------------
Evan watched the panthers with interest. The young one he could tell wanted to say so much more. Since Kali was mad, why couldn't he be? When she walked off, Evan turned to Razor. His blue eyes were cold. Ya know, you'd be better off if you'd earn her respect. Evan could tell she didn't respect him, and Evan didn't really blame her. He was a bastard. And that was about the nicest way he could put it. He glared at the panther for a second, then walked after Kali. He followed her scent easily, and his sharp eyes spotted her in a dark corner. He walked over and cleared his throat to let her know he was there. He wasn't at all surprised when she glared up at him.

He could tell right away that she was getting quite agitated with him, for what he wasn't sure, he was trying his best not to be quite an asshole he always was but all his attempts were futile. Watching her stalk off only set things worse for him, his evening had started off rather peaceful until that damned fall. The young male decided to add his comments and just tossed Razor over his top with annoyance, she needed to show him a bit of respect first though it was rather childish to expect it from her...especially with the things he had done and all. Watching the wolf stalk off he turned back to his perch and jumped up, curling carefully back in his spot. As he lay on his comfy seat he kept repeating to himself not to turn any more after her, no, he didn't need this stress when he had bigger fish to fry...at least, most of the time.

Kali glared up at the wolf. Her harks were flat against her skull in agitation, and she snarled at him. What do you want? She wasn't in the mood for any more of his 'jokes' right now. She was already mad enough. She kept her cold glare on his eyes. Kali's claws sheathed and unsheathed, digging into the dirt instead of someone's flesh like she wanted to do.
----------------------------------------------------
Evan sighed when she snarled at him. Yes, he had been kind of an asshole tonight, but that was just Evan. He didn't move in Kali's feirce glare, just looked calmly at her. I'm sorry I got you in trouble. I didn't expect that to happen. He stared at her for a moment longer, before walking away from the fairgrounds and back to the woods. Of course Evan didn't miss the 'good. glad you're gone' look on Kali's face as he left. Evan just sighed, and moved on. Maybe next time they ran into each other it would be on more pleasant terms.

Resting lazily in his cart he watched as he crawled into a roll onto his back, belly to the sky once more. The wolf decided to part ways and head back to the woods where he came from, a good thing he guessed, it meant that his time would not be wasted trying to get along with some foolish little devil of a canine. Passing gaze back up to the heavens he looked to the moon, to the stars shining brightly above and began to purr. He always felt at home here in the darkness, but of Kali he felt a tad guilty, perhaps he was being too harsh on her, this thought brought his purrs to an abrupt halt as he rolled over and padded lazily down from the car. He decided whether she wanted him around or not he would go to her, dipped skull as his yellow eyes found her in the darkness quite quickly, curled and quite frazzled simply by the looks of it. Rolling up beside her he took a seat and looked down upon her, a deep sigh escaping his maw.
Look, Kali, please don't think I was mad at you or anything, wolves...they put me on edge, they think they own the world because of Orion the lycanth master. You are my charge, I would not let something injure you, and the blood led me to believe he had. I cannot show weakness in the sight of a canine, as you shant either.
Each word he meant totally, sincerely, hopefully she would sense it in his tone.

Kali glared at Razor when he approached, and got a little agitated at his words. Her harks twitched, and she tried to make her words without bite to them. Tried. Well Razor, he didn't think he owned the world, he just wanted to have some fun, and the only reason I yelped was because I surprisingly did not scent him before he tackled me, and the blood was his because I bit him. When she finished, she was very ticked at Razor. She didn't show weakness. And she wasn't helpless. He acted like she couldn't take care of herself. Kali half wished she had ripped that wolf apart. Just to show Razor she could. He obviously thought she couldn't. And I'm not helpless. Just because I am slightly smaller and female doesn't mean I am any less of a fighter than you. Her last words were very cold, and cut through the air like glass. She glared at Razor, and walked off again. She didn't really want to bother with him, and if he followed, whatever. If he didn't, it was fine with Kali.
