Eris and Bella had walked in silence since leaving the club, the park was close and the older vampire wanted to enjoy the stillness of the night and take stock of those around them before breaking into her little speech. They were only a few steps in when Eris began speaking. "There are three things that can kills us, prolonged exposure to sunlight, a stake directly to the heart, and being beheaded. Low exposer to sunlight and silver weaken us and it takes a few days to recover. All of your senses are heightened, I'm sure you've noticed your eyesight is amazing, even in the dark. If you are still you can hear things you never even realized made a sound. You are now possess super human strength and can move quickly from one place to another, so fast you are invisible to the human eye. You are telepathic to an extent at the moment, with time it will become stronger, now it will be enough to keep your meal pacified no matter the size difference. All of these skills are weak now, but with time and fine tuning you will be amazed at who they progress. Now on to feeding. You can live off of animals, but trust me, it is not really living. Humans are the most satisfying and while it may be difficult to kill at first, you must think of them as cattle. Think about it, you are considerably different than you were when you first stepped foot into the bar. Was your human life really living? After a few nights I'm sure your answer will be no. Mortals are no more than mindless livestock, ants marching to towards their inevitable demise. Kill who you wish, if your mortal morals still get to you, kill those that truly deserve it, and trust me, the evils in their hearts and minds will scream out at you."
The two were now deep within the park, is was late but there were always a few of societies undesirables lurking in the shadows, sleeping on the benches. Tonight was no different, she could smell the living blood and hear the heartbeat of someone on the bench a few yards before them. She stopped in her tracks, voice low and inaudible to human ears, she knew Bella would be able to hear her though. "Do you have any questions before your first meal?"

Bella listened very closely to Eris' words. She needed to know these things, so she logged them in her memory. Her eyes widened with anticipation, she wanted to test her new skills. She wanted to train them, to master them. She knew it would take time, but she was already preparing herself. Then there was a beat of silence in her head as her thoughts changed. She had to kill people. The last thing Eris said before they made it into the deep part of the dark was about inner evils. That sounded like a plan, feed on those who deserve to die.
She paused in her walking, deserve to die? Now she was arguing with herself. But then the hunger kicked in again. She snarled quietly before responding with a shake of a head. She just didn't want to go first.

Eris smiled at her fledgling, she was so eager, so excited, the enthusiasm was refreshing. She had a feeling Bella wanted her to start the night off, give her a preview of how it was done. Eris wasn't really that hungry but would never turn down fresh blood, so as another human walked up to the seated one she winked at Bella and pulled her shirt down a little, showing off what she had been graced with. As she walked up to the two, somehow pulling off a disoriented and innocent look, she spoke to Bella, and Bella alone could hear her in the darkness. "Listen, not to what they are saying but to who they are. The one standing is here to sell a gun to the one seated. Be still and listen to what he plans to do with it."
Eris startled the two, the one who was going to sell the gun started yelling, the one seated looked like he would bolt. She might get shot, this was more exciting than she though it would be. She walked up to the one standing and stroked his cheek, he instantly calmed down, with a look and a smile the other was now complacent. She nodded to Bella and spoke. "It's time to feed." Eris pulled the seller to her level and buried her teeth into his neck, flooding his mind with horrible images of brimstone and eternal torture. This was why the older vampire enjoyed feeding off those who deserved to die, she enjoyed filling the last minutes of their life with the terrifying pictures of what they might be facing.

Bella watched her sire carefully, noting the small touches to add to the seduction and luring in. She concentrated, briefly closing her eyes as she attempted to listen to the people. It was strange, the brief snippets of information she got. She liked it. She grinned as she watched Eris easily calm the yelling victim and then torture him just as easily. She seemed to do it with such grace and style.
Wondering if she herself would be able to master such as thing as well as Eris, Bella walked forward towards the other man. He seemed frozen in fright at the events taking place in front of him. She casually walked up to him, putting her foot on the bench between his legs and staring him down. She leaned forward, grinning with her fangs, yet her focus on calming the man down seemed to be working. He relaxed a bit. Then she pulled him close and sunk her fangs into his flesh, letting the crimson liquid stain her tights.
((gah, stupid college and it's random boatload of work <.<))

The body was now limp in Eris's arms, through the haze of the blood high she could see that Bella had taken her first victim, and she smiled. She stared at what she had fed on, trying not to let disgust break it's way onto her face. The elder vampire hoped that Bella would blossom, and quickly, she didn't know how long she could feed on trash like this. She was picky, she didn't need to feed every night so she could afford to be as much, and weak blood was something she could barely tolerate. Realizing she was still holding the filth she scrunched up for face for a moment, bit her lower lip, smeared the blood on his neck to close the wound and dropped the body.
Eris dusted her hands off and walked over to the bench, sitting beside the body Bella was feeding off of. She wondered if she should talk while the girl ate, but with a mental shrug she began speaking. "When you are done take a bit of your own blood and wipe it over the wound, it will close it and leave no trace of the feed. They may be totally drained but we don't want to give the dingy cops some reason to go chasing after the weird mortals." She simply watched as the man's life was drained from him, half in her own world. He was so calm, his death so serene. It was like leading cattle down to the chute to the giant hammer they knew nothing about. That's all these things were to her, cattle, food, an occasional good time, nothing more. She thought back to the deaths of all of those that knew her in the light, she had vowed not to grow close to anyone else. Only once had she broken that promise...
The silence pulled her from her daze, there was no longer a heart beat. Good, the two still had time to get the girls belonging and get back to the main house before the sun rose. She would have to stay there, at least for today. Tomorrow, if the girl wanted, they could move her to one of the empty houses.

Bella was entirely intoxicated by the blood flowing down her throat. It was an amazing feeling and she didn't want to stop. She didn't even realize Eris was speaking to her, yet she knew what she'd said. When there was no more left, she let the man go and took a step back. She was covered in blood. Messy eater. All of the white she had on was stained, and she didn't care. She matched her hair.
She looked at Eris, grinning before she ran her finger along her canine to cut it. Then she wiped her blood onto the man's neck and tilted her head as she watched it heal. Licking her lips, she looked back at her sire once more, ready for anything she ordered her to do.

Eris smiled, the girl was a mess and she loved it. The fledging was quite a sight, they would have to avoid being spotted but it shouldn't be too hard. She looked up silently to the sky, they had enough time to grab Bella's stuff. She thought about it for a moment, did the girl even have anything? Where did she say she staying? Had she said she was staying somewhere? In the excitement of having a companion Eris really hadn't been listening to the girl. "We haven't a lot of time to waste but there is still time to gather your things. Of course we can always go shopping tomorrow night." A wide grin crosses her face, her only weakness in this world was shopping. She had paid many of the local boutiques plenty of money to assure that when she wanted to spend even more of her money in their shops they would open their doors to her, no matter the hour. With so many medical advances, scientific discoveries always finding that new strange ailment, it was easy to convince them that her photo sensitivity was due to some rare genetic disease she had inherited from her mother. She knew that they were wasting time standing here, but she wasn't sure which direction to go. She took Bella's arm with a smile and spoke. "Lead the way darling, and then we will head to your new home! The main house is large enough you can stay there, have an entire floor to yourself actually. But if you wish for some privacy there are other houses. We'll worry about that later, for tonight at least you will stay in the main house."
((sorry it sucks, cold meds make me fuzzy.))

Bella wiped some of the blood off of her face before she started to walk. "I only have a few things, so shopping sounds like it would be a good idea." She was walking a bit faster than normal, it was either from excitement or her new powers, she couldn't tell. "I left them in a a small hotel room, figuring I would only stay for the night." She shrugged, "Well, I suppose I figured correctly." A grin formed on her face.
"So a whole floor, huh?" She didn't really want her own house, but a floor sounded nice. The place must be huge. "Are there any other guests I should worry about?" She was curious as to whether or not it would be just herself and Eris. Not that she'd be jealous or anything.((Eek...I'm sorry for mine as well ))

Sorry for the delay in replying, we have been moving stuff around in the house and we just got settled in the new room.
The girl was smiling as the walked quickly, Eris indulged her and kept up easily as they walked through the park but when they got back into the view of the public the elder vampire pulled on Bella's arm to slow her. "We wouldn't want to startle anyone. As for other guests, it has always just been myself and the dogs. Since I first discovered the Neapolitan Mastiffs I have bred and kept them on the premises. Only one lives in the house, the rest roam the grounds. There were actually a litter of pups just born a few weeks ago. There I go rambling though, if you'd like you can pick one out tomorrow. Here we are, run inside and get your things, I will wait here." They had finally reached the hotel, had Bella realized when she had checked in her first night that the man behind the front desk was not a man? No matter, when she went in tonight she would know. Eris chuckled to herself.
As the ancient one waited she felt excitement rise in the pit of her stomach, she would no longer live alone with the dogs. She did love them though, and they had guarded her well for so long, but while they were more interesting to her than humans, they weren't the greatest conversationalists. She would have someone to shop with, someone to hunt with, someone to talk to. She would have to show the girl the difference between strong blood and weak blood, that worm tonight was filling but not the least bit satisfying. Eris grinned to herself, remembering the terror in his face, maybe it was a little satisfying.

Christabel smiled as Eris rambled on. She didn't mind though, especially when she was talking about her dogs. And that she was the only immortal guest sharing the house. She felt special. Looking towards the hotel, she nodded at her sire. "I won't be long." She walked casually into the building, noting that the man who had checked her in wasn't actually a man. She winked at him though as she walked past, grinning.
After a few moments, Bella found herself outside once more, all checked out with only a few bags on her shoulders. It wasn't much, but it was hers; it was all she knew she needed. She grinned at Eris. "I suppose it would be best to go shopping soon, considering I only have this for stuff." She held up her bags.
((that's fine. I just realized I did my hair like Christabel's, haha!))

((Oh my goodness life caught me up in it's web and I haven't even my poor little laptop in almost two months. I was quite shocked it even worked anymore, haha.))
Eris just smiled at the girl, she seemed so excited, well they would walk home in their shared excitement. The rising sun would soon be upon them and the fledgling could not handle direct sunlight yet, though the older vampire was not too fond of the light herself. She once more linked arms with Bella and began walking briskly in the direction of her property. "Then shopping tomorrow night, that will give you some time to think on what you want in your room. My taste, though eclectic, is a tad old fashioned, though I think I might have a room you would like. There are four rooms upstairs, the largest one will be yours for as long as you like. It's done up completely in red and black velvet and silk, everything the finest you could find. My motto is I have lived long enough to have my fingers into many different cookie jars, I will enjoy it." Her laugh echoed through the near empty streets. Of course they could walk faster and be there in mere moments, as dawn grew closer they would have to hurry, but they still had time to dawdle.
Eris has always loved the smell of the world as night was ending. It was as when the hands of the clock turned over to a new day so did the earth. Things were fresh, new, it was amazing. She let her thoughts wander for just a few blocks more before she let out an airy sigh. It was time to hurry, but a sly smile crossed her face. Eris took one of the girls bags and turned to her with a fang framed grin. "Ready to really test your new legs? Try and keep up darling." With that said Eris darted off.
(I apologize for the post, I'm a little rusty. )
